Born & raised in central Indiana, I am a quasi-third culture kid in the sense that I was exposed to two distinct cultures growing up.  I like to say that I’m half Thai, half Tennessee.  Though I didn’t spend any significant time outside the US growing up, I was exposed to some of the cultural norms of southeast Asian culture.  My wife playfully says that I skipped my childhood and went straight into adulthood.  Maybe so.  But that’s who I am.

I’m happily married and a father of two young ones.  Surrounded by good friends and a loving family — and saved by grace — I live a life that is better than I deserve.
